Provencale are a local kitchen retailer who import and fit high quality bespoke kitchens from Europe. Currently they attract most of their business locally from people passing the shop. However Ian Philliskirk the owner of Provencale wanted to attract more customers from the surrounding areas including Derby, Nottingham and Leicester. He gave us a brief to design and build a site which illustrated the professionalism of Provencale and also to demonstrate the quality of the kitchens they sell.
Once completed we needed to start the marketing campaign to drive potential customers to the site. Ian looked into many different types of traditional marketing and found it to be both expensive and also very difficult to measure the success. We suggested to Ian, that due to his site being new and the fact that google would be slow to index his site he should consider PPC marketing to attract visitors in the short term.
We setup the marketing campaign and continued to adjust it daily until Ian was happy that he had a balance between the number of visitors attracted to the site and his daily budget. We recommend that a PPC campaign is used in the short term at the start of a websites life to boost visitors and then reduce it or remove it once natural listings take over. However Ian found that he was happy that the amount spent on ppc was less expensive than his previous advertising spend and hence he still continues to run the ad campaign.
